[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Recently, major credit card companies such as Shinhan Card, Samsung Card, and Hyundai Card have suspended payments for the purchase and recharge of Homeplus gift cards.

Other credit card companies are also reportedly considering suspending payments for the gift cards.

This move follows Homeplus' filing for corporate rehabilitation, raising concerns about delayed repayments.

While Homeplus gift cards are trade claims and can be redeemed, the increasing worries about the company's financial situation have led credit card companies to halt approval for payments.
