Logen, the "big four" in the local delivery industry, has begun a follow-up process to relocate its headquarters in Wanju by signing the main contract to purchase the "Techno Valley Second Industrial Complex" site next month and starting construction of a large-scale terminal in April next year.
According to Wanju-gun on the 19th, Jeollabuk-do, Wanju-gun, and Rosen signed an agreement (MOU) to invest a total of 1,083 billion won in 145,816㎡ (44,4109 pyeong) of the 'Wanju Techno Valley Second Industrial Complex' in Jenae-ri, Bongdong-eup.
Previously, Logen paid a provisional payment for the purchase of logistics land to Wanju County the previous day, sign the main contract by the 10th of next month, pay the balance within six months, and start construction of a large two-story terminal on a site of 58,000㎡ (17,545 pyeong) around April next year.
Logen plans to relocate its headquarters in April 2026 after completing the final investment, such as installing a Auto sorter that automatically classifies products and a conveyor to carry products.
Logen's Wanju terminal will be built on part of the site where Powell Fashion, its parent company, signed MOUs with North Jeolla Province and Wanju County at the end of last year, and is expected to be the second among the existing 10 terminals in the country after Icheon, Gyeonggi Province, in terms of processable volume.
