Korea Development Bank and Korea Growth Finance Announce 2025 Semiconductor Ecosystem Fund Contribution Plans

[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] On May 13, the Korea Development Bank (KDB) and Korea Growth Finance Corporation (KGF) announced the opening of their contribution program for the 2025 Semiconductor Ecosystem Fund. This initiative is in line with the government's policy to strengthen support for the semiconductor industry.



The new contributions aim to build on the 3 trillion KRW fund being established through this year. An additional 8 trillion KRW will be raised by 2027. As both existing and new projects are being launched simultaneously, KDB plans to select three asset management firms to operate the blind pool fund this year.



The deadline for fund proposal submissions is May 30, with selections to be made by the end of June.
