[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Daewoo Construction, a Kospi-listed company, announced on the 11th that it will invest approximately 110.8 billion KRW in its construction subsidiary in Vietnam, Daewoo Engineering & Construction Vietnam.

Following the investment, Daewoo Construction will hold a 100% stake in the subsidiary.

The purpose of this move, as stated by Daewoo Construction, is to participate in a shareholder allocation rights issue.
