[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] A Korean Air flight (KE908) from London to Incheon was delayed by approximately 21 hours, causing inconvenience for 325 passengers.

According to Korean Air on the 20th, the flight, originally scheduled to depart from London Heathrow Airport at 7:55 PM on the 18th, was delayed and eventually took off at 5:19 PM on the 19th.

The delay occurred due to damage to the aircraft's surface after a catering truck made contact with the plane during ground operations. The flight was delayed while waiting for manufacturer guidelines and completing the necessary repairs. As a result, the flight, which was initially expected to arrive at 4:15 PM on the 19th, was rescheduled to land at 1:39 PM the following day.

Korean Air informed the stranded passengers of the delay and provided hotel accommodations and meals in accordance with relevant regulations.
