[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Korean Air announced on its official website on the 4th that waiting at the airport will be restricted when purchasing international bonus tickets or raising seats from the 21st.

In principle, the purchase must be completed in advance in order to purchase a ticket with mileage or to raise a seat. Each airline limits the percentage of mileage seats per flight. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport recommends a mileage seat ratio of about 5% per flight.

However, some passengers are waiting at the airport on the same day because they are unable to book mileage tickets due to lack of seats I bought a seat or got a raise with mileage. The company accepted passengers' requests depending on the situation, but this method will be limited from the 21st.

Korean Air explained, "We decided to restrict the release of mileage tickets, judging that it could be affected by the work of the field staff and cause damage to other passengers."
