[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] NCsoft has filed a lawsuit against Kakao Games' new work "Archage War" for infringing on the copyright of its game "Lineage 2M."
NC said on the 5th that it has filed a complaint with the Seoul Central District Court against Kakao Games and XL Games for copyright infringement and unfair competition.
NC explained that it confirmed that Kakao Games and XL Games imitated a number of contents and systems of "Lineage 2M" at the Archiage War, which was released on the 21st of last month. After analysis and discussion by experts inside and outside the company, we decided to file a lawsuit to protect our IP.
