[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Toss Securities has caused the most computer errors this year since last year.

Kakao Pay Securities, which was launched to revolutionize the securities industry, has already surpassed the annual level last year by July. It is analyzed that both securities companies have not yet made profits and have not increased the budget for computer system management.

Between January and July this year, Toss Securities suffered nine computer errors in the home and mobile trading system (HTS·MTS), the largest number among 28 securities firms in Korea.

Kakao Pay Securities also committed six computer errors during the same period, exceeding the number of cases per year (5 cases) last year. It is the third largest figure among all securities firms. Considering that the two securities firms only provide MTS services without HTS, the frequency of errors is particularly high.

Other than these new securities firms, Shinhan Investment & Securities (7 cases), Mirae Asset Securities (006800 cases), Korea Investment & Securities, and Daishin Securities (003540 cases) (3 cases), KB Securities and Samsung Securities (016360 cases) and NH Investment & Securities (005940 cases) had the most computer failures. The survey also included simple failures without consumer damage, such as computer equipment overload and program errors.
