[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Bithumb Korea, a domestic virtual asset exchange company, announced on the 14th that it recorded sales of 32.4 billion won, operating loss of 600 million won, and net loss of 10.6 billion won in the third quarter of this year.

Sales fell 53% year-on-year and shifted to deficits in terms of operating profit and net profit. Operating profit and net profit have been in the red since last quarter.

The increase in quarterly net loss was affected by a drop in the value of virtual assets held by the company and a deterioration in subsidiary earnings.
