[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The financial authorities will postpone the disclosure of ESG (Environmental, Responsibility and Transparent Management), which was originally scheduled to be introduced from 2025, until 2026.

On the 16th, the Financial Services Commission held the third meeting of the ESG Financial Promotion Group and announced such a postponement plan.

Earlier, the financial authorities announced plans to apply the ESG disclosure obligation from 2025. However, the decision will allow us to delay it for at least another year. The Financial Services Commission said it will postpone the introduction after 2026, but decide on the specific timing after reviewing it with related ministries.
