[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Lee Yeon-mo, former head of LG Electronics' MC business division (vice president), who led LG Electronics' mobile business, has returned to the position of vice president of LG Energy Solutions more than two years after his retirement.

LG Energy Solutions announced on the 14th that it has appointed former vice president Lee as vice president in its 'third quarter quarterly report'.

Former Vice President Lee has been going to work with LG Energy Solutions since last month. Formal appointments, including the appointment of former vice president Lee to the department, will be reflected in LG Group's year-end executive appointments in the future.

Former Vice President Lee became the head of the MC Business Division in early 2020 when Kwon Bong-seok, a former vice president of LG Electronics, was promoted to LG Electronics CEO.

Since then, LG Electronics' MC division was disbanded in April 2021, and former vice president Lee left LG Electronics at the end of the same year.
