[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] GCGC Biopharma announced on the 20th that it has won a $44.38 million (KRW 57.9 billion) flu vaccine in a bid for medicine in the Southern Hemisphere in 2023. The export will be supplied to Latin American countries during the first half of the year.
According to global market research firm Evaluate Pharma, the global flu vaccine market is expected to grow rapidly to $7.4 billion in 2025.
The Green Cross has topped the PAHO's list of flu vaccines for the past 10 years from 2014 to this year.
