[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The sale process will begin in earnest as the Korea Maritime Promotion Agency and the Korea Development Bank conclude negotiations and sign contracts with the preferred bidders of the HMM management rights sale advisory group.
The Korea Maritime Promotion Agency and the Korea Development Bank announced on the 10th that they have signed an advisory service contract on the sale of HMM management rights with Samsung Securities (sales advisory), Samil Accounting Corporation (accounting advisory), and law firm Gwangjang (legal advisory).
The sale organizers and the advisory group then held their first (kickoff) meeting on the same day and discussed the sale process.
"We will do our best to ensure that the sale process proceeds smoothly in the future after sufficient discussion with the advisory group," said an official at the Korea Maritime Promotion Agency.
