It is because of China's invitation to attend the first offline economic agenda forum in three years.
As many CEOs of global companies such as Aramco, Apple, Shell and BMW also attend the meeting, a wide range of exchanges and business cooperation among global businessmen are expected to take place.
According to Chinese sources and industry sources on the 22nd, the Power Generation Research Center, a think tank under the Chinese State Council, will host the "China Development Forum (CDF)" from the 25th to the 27th.
CEOs of global companies will also participate in the event. Saudi Arabia's state-run Aramco CEO Amin Hatsan Nasser, Apple CEO of the U.S., Albert Bulla and Pfizer CEO, as well as global oil and energy companies Shell, Mercedes-Benz, BMW and Allianz have confirmed their participation.
Also on the list were HSBC, Nestle, Siemens, Hitachi of Japan, FedEx, P&G, and Rio Tinto, a mining and iron ore company. This year's CDF is expected to preside over the Li Changi Forum, where the new prime minister of the State Council was confirmed earlier this month.
