[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Seoul, South Korea — July 28, 2025 — SM Entertainment announced today that its K-pop girl group aespa has achieved multiple milestones on Tencent Music Entertainment Group (TME)’s recently released “2025 Mid-Year Review Chart.”
According to TME, aespa topped the Korean charts with the most total entries (534) and the most No. 1 rankings (20) in the first half of 2025, further cementing their position as one of the leading K-pop acts in China.
The group was also named among the “Best Groups” of the chart, and their October 2024 release “Whiplash” secured a coveted spot in the Hot Top 10 despite fierce competition.
aespa’s newest single “Dirty Work” has been equally dominant, reaching No. 1 on five QQ Music charts — including Digital Album Sales, Trend Peak, Soaring, Music Index, and Overall Music Video — and earning a Double Platinum certification. The track also claimed the top spot on the Kugou Music Digital Album Sales Chart.
Looking ahead, aespa is set to appear at KCON LA 2025, which will be held from August 1–3 (local time) at the Crypto.com Arena and LA Convention Center in Los Angeles, USA.
