[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Ottogi has withdrawn its plan to raise the sales price of 24 convenience stores, including curry and jjajang, from the 1st of next month.

"We planned to raise the price of ketchup and other products sold at convenience stores as the price burden of raw materials that has been accumulated since last year continued until this year, but we decided to withdraw it," an Ottogi official said on the 27th.

Initially, grocery prices were to be raised to around 10%. Ottogi said, "The decision was made to participate in the stabilization of people's livelihoods amid the government's price stability."
