[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] GC Biopharma announced on the 1st that consolidated sales (provisional) in the third quarter of this year were 439.4 billion won in sales and 32.8 billion won in operating profit. Sales fell 4.4% year-on-year, and operating profit also fell 32.8%.
"Overseas flu vaccines grew year-on-year, but there was a temporary gap in Hunterage sales due to geopolitical issues," the company said. "The operating profit was affected by the adjustment of the product sales mix (Mix)."
On a cumulative basis this year, sales are 1.2217 trillion won and operating profit is 42.8 billion won. This is also a decrease of 6.0% in sales and 58.7% in operating profit from last year.
