Hanwha Aerospace announced on the 9th that it will merge the Hanwha defense sector (Hanwha Defense).
Hanwha Aerospace currently holds a 100% stake in Hanwha Defense. The merger date is April 1st.
Hanwha Defense is engaged in the manufacturing of weapons and gun shells, and the defense industry related to the manufacturing, sale, storage, and transportation of munitions.
Hanwha Aerospace said about the merger, "It is aimed at strengthening competitiveness and enhancing management efficiency by maximizing synergy through mergers and acquisitions."
