[Apha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kakao Pay said it will be able to use Kakao Pay payment services at various payment centers in Thailand, including Central Retail and Grab.

Central Retail is Thailand's largest retail company, which is frequented by Korean tourists and tourists visiting Thailand, and operates shopping centers for various affiliates.

Users can use the Kakao Pay payment service at more than 3,000 central retail stores across Thailand, including ▲ Department Store (Central World, Central Amber, Robinson) ▲ Drug Store.

Grab, Southeast Asia's largest car-sharing company, will also be able to pay Kakao Pay within three quarters.

Kakao Pay is added as a payment method when booking a transportation through Grab app.

Kakao Pay has established an overseas payment system so that users can continue their convenient payment experience in Korea.

Users can easily pay at offline franchises with the logo "Kakao Pay" or "Alipay Plus" without exchanging money.

If you present a QR code or bar code on the payment screen or if you take a picture of a QR code attached to the store and make a payment, you can make an easy and simple payment with "Kakao Pay."

All payment details can be checked in real time through the Kakao Pay app and KakaoTalk, and the payment amount is highly convenient as it is presented not only in local currency but also in won.

Meanwhile, the Kakao Pay payment service is currently available or tested in more than 10 countries including Japan, China, Thailand, France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom and Australia.
