[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Toss Securities’ mobile trading system (MTS) experienced a technical glitch overnight, causing inconvenience for investors attempting to trade U.S. stocks.

According to industry sources on January 15, after the U.S. market opened during regular trading hours, users reported that stock information and account balances were not displaying correctly on the MTS home screen.

The issue occurred from 11:37 p.m. the previous day and lasted approximately 17 minutes.

As a result, some users had difficulty checking real-time prices and monitoring their portfolio. However, there were no reports of broader trading disruptions, such as order execution failures.

Toss Securities stated that affected customers can contact the customer center to report issues, and the company will review submissions and provide compensation as appropriate.
