[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] A piece of glass came out of the coffee served as an in-flight meal for Korean Air.

The incident occurred to A, who boarded a Korean Air flight to Incheon from Guangzhou, China, on the 1st.

A felt a sense of irritation while drinking iced coffee served as an in-flight meal, and when he spit it out, he found a piece of glass that appeared to be 0.5㎝ long and 0.1㎝ thick.

It was identified that the glass containing coffee was broken.

A may have swallowed a piece of glass, so he vomited all food in the in-flight bathroom under the guidance of the crew. Fortunately, Mr. A did not have any health problems after entering the country.

"I found a piece of glass while drinking a sip of coffee, but if it was a drink, I might have swallowed it," A said. "I thought I died vomiting food in the in-flight bathroom. When I got home, I nauseated for two days."

Korean Air is said to have provided A with medical expenses and an electronic preferential discount of 100,000 won.
