Asiana Airlines Incheon-Sendai route delayed by 24 hours due to dispute with pilots' union

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Two flights between Incheon and Japan's Sendai were delayed 24 hours over the weekend due to a dispute by Asiana Airlines' pilot union, a report showed.

According to the airline industry on the 3rd, flight OZ152 from Incheon to Sendai, which was scheduled to depart at 9:40 a.m. on the 2nd, was delayed 24 hours due to a dispute by the pilot's union. With the first flight delayed, the connecting flight (OZ151) from Sendai to Incheon, which was scheduled to depart at 12:50 p.m. the next day, also left 24 hours late.

Asiana Airlines informed passengers that the cause of the prolonged delay was collective action by the pilot's union. The first number of reserved passengers is 132 from Incheon to Sendai and 121 from Sendai to Incheon.

According to Asiana Airlines, a total of 28 flights have been delayed so far since the first flight was delayed on the 11th of last month due to a dispute by the pilot's union.
