Employees of SKC subsidiary SK enpulse established ‘union’

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Employees of SK enpulse, a subsidiary of SKC semiconductor materials and components, have established a labor union.

According to the industry on the 19th, SK enpulse employees recently completed the union establishment report to the Ministry of Employment and Labor and launched a formal union.

The union is reportedly recruiting additional members and more than 200 of its 600 employees have joined the union. The union plans to elect its chairman and deliver its official position to the company on the sale of its business unit.

Currently, SKC (011790) is seeking to sell its fine ceramics division of SK enpulse, a 100% subsidiary. To this end, we signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Hahn & Company, and the sale is known to be about 400 billion won.
