[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] It has been confirmed that the dispute between SKT and Naver, which was heightened by war luck due to the withdrawal of AI personnel, is in the process of being sutured.

According to SK Telecom and others on the 14th, Jeong Seok-geun, SK Telecom's representative of North America, sent a confirmation that said, "We will no longer take out Naver AI manpower" through a friendly format.

Before serving as SKT's North American representative, Jeong Seok-geun was in charge of Naver and LINE's joint artificial intelligence (AI) brand Clova.

In June, Naver sent an official letter to SKT asking them to stop taking away key AI personnel.

Since shaking off Naver's strategic alliance proposal as Vice Chairman Park Jung-ho (then president of SKT) in 2017, SKT has focused on its own AI manpower supply and demand and services, but has not achieved much results except for T-map.

SKT said to Alpha Economy, "I understand that the conflict with Naver has been resolved well," and "the details are secret between the two companies."
