[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Ship engine maker HSD Engine Co. said on the 9th that it has signed a contract with Qatar gas carrier NSQL and British carrier STASCO to supply engine parts and maintenance services needed to maintain 25 ships and 50 ship engines.
The contract amount is 89.8 billion won (69.16 million dollars), which is 14.99% of recent sales.
The contract period is from this month to February 2028.
The HSD engine expects the deal to improve the service life of ship engines and improve ship operational efficiency by providing spare parts and services to NSQL and STASCO for five years.
