[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Another semiconductor technology leak occurred at Samsung Electronics.

According to industry sources on the 17th, the DS (Device Solution) division, which is in charge of Samsung Electronics' semiconductor business, recently fired engineer A on charges of leaking data containing core technologies.

A reportedly sent dozens of important data containing key technologies to external personal emails and was caught storing them after sending some of them back to another external mail account.

Last year, engineer B, who was preparing to move to an overseas company, displays important data containing key national technologies on screens and keeps hundreds of pictures I was caught.

Another engineer, Mr. C, was preparing to move to a domestic partner, and similarly, he captured and kept the technical data open I was caught.

Samsung Electronics asked a state agency to investigate them, and a trial is currently underway.
