[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] KB Asset Management announced on the 3rd that it purchased Samsung SDS Tower in Jamsil, Songpa-gu, Seoul, which is considered the largest real estate transaction of the year.

Jamsil Samsung SDS Tower, purchased by KB Asset Management for 850 billion won, is a building with a floor area of 90,000㎡ (30,110 pyeong) with 30 stories above ground and 7 stories below ground.

The sale amount exceeds the sale price of Pangyo Alpha Dome Tower (728.4 billion won), Concordian Building (629.2 billion won), and Majesta City Tower 1 (520 billion won). Samsung SDS will lease the entire office over the next 10 years, so there is no fear of vacancy for 10 years.

KB Kookmin Bank, KB Life Insurance, KB Capital and other KB Financial affiliates participated in the 'KB Core + Blind Fund', leading to the participation of major domestic insurance companies and other institutional investors.
