[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Suspicions arose that Hyundai Engineering & Construction colluded in a public offering for the development of the "Wirye New Town Bokjeong Station Area."

The Fair Trade Commission has launched a full-fledged investigation into the allegations.

The FTC recently sent an investigator to Hyundai Engineering & Construction to secure data on the Bokjeong station influence area development project and consortium.

Earlier, during a parliamentary audit of the National Policy Committee of the National Assembly, it was alleged that LH and Hyundai Engineering & Construction communicated in advance and signed a "trick private contract" disguised as a public offering.

In fact, the Hyundai Engineering & Construction Consortium was selected as the preferred bidder without competition.

The Fair Trade Commission, which reviewed the case after raising suspicions, conducted an on-site investigation to see if it was actually colluded.
