[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Police have initiated a forceful investigation into Kim Yong-hyun, the former Minister of National Defense, who is implicated in recommending a state of emergency martial law.

On the 8th, the National Investigation Headquarters of the National Police Agency confirmed that its dedicated team for investigating emergency martial law is conducting a search of Kim's residence and his office at the Ministry of National Defense.

Previously, the prosecution arrested Kim and seized his mobile phone, and it seems that the police are also accelerating efforts to secure evidence to substantiate the charges.
