[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The Fair Trade Commission has launched an on-site investigation after finding circumstantial evidence that Daewoong Pharmaceutical unfairly supported its group affiliates.

According to related industries on the 31st, the FTC sent investigators to Daewoong Pharmaceutical the previous day to secure data on unfair internal support.

The FTC has recently detected and is investigating allegations of unfair internal transactions by a number of companies in monitoring the status of internal transactions by mid-sized business groups.

The FTC also announced in its business plan at the beginning of the year that it will intensively monitor the expedient transfer of wealth for the succession of management rights, unfair support encroaching on the competitiveness of independent and small and medium-sized enterprises, and unfair support for insolvent affiliates.
