According to related industries, the Seoul Family Court's Household Agreement Department 3 (Senior Judge Won Jung-sook) closed the interview date for the divorce suit filed by Lee against Chairman Kwon for about two hours.
The interview period is a procedure that is carried out if an investigation into the housework or parenting environment is required during the divorce hearing, and the party, not the agent, must attend in person.
Lee filed a divorce suit against Kwon in November last year. He insisted on the property division of about half of Kwon's holdings, saying that he had been married for 20 years, raised children, and served as CEO of Smilegate in the early days of the foundation. It is claimed that it contributed to the growth of Smilegate and the formation of corporate value.
Chairman Kwon's shares in Smilegate Holdings are worth KRW 10 trillion. Considering this, Lee's stake is estimated to be worth about KRW 5 trillion.
