GC Biopharma receives $10 million worth of ‘GCFLU’ order from Thailand

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] GC Biopharma said on the 23rd that its flu vaccine "GCFLU" has won an order worth about $10 million in a 2024 bid for Thailand's state-run pharmaceutical company GPO (Government Pharmaceutical Organization).

This is the largest amount GC Biopharma has signed since entering the Thai flu vaccine market in 2014. The company explained that the terms and conditions of the contract, such as the contract amount and period, could change in the future following an agreement with the other country.

Meanwhile, GC Biopharma is the largest supplier of seasonal flu vaccines for an international organization under the WHO, which supplies flu vaccines to 63 countries around the world. So far, the cumulative production of the flu vaccine has exceeded 300 million doses.
