[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] The supply and demand of children's fever reducer is expected to be smoother with the lifting of the suspension of manufacturing and sales of "Champ syrup" and "Coldaewon Kids Cough Syrup," the No. 1 and No. 2 products in the children's fever reducer market.

As the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety lifted the suspension of manufacturing and sales of Dong-A Pharmaceutical's Champ Syrup and Daewon Pharmaceutical's Coldaewon Kids Cough Syrup on the 10th, the product will be shipped from the factory immediately.

Earlier in April and May, it was recommended to recall the entire manufacturing number of champ syrup, which had been confirmed to be unfit for browning and microbial limit tests, and Coldaewon Kids Cough Syrup, which suffered phase separation, and stopped manufacturing and selling until cause analysis and sanctions improvement were completed.

Daewon Pharm analyzed that due to the low viscosity and density of Coldaewon Kids Cough Syrup, the main ingredient sank downward and separated into a clear transparent liquid and a white opaque liquid. Daewon Pharmaceutical changed the amount of additives to improve this, and thus proved that the phase remains stable without separation.

After completing these preparations, the two pharmaceutical companies began production of the product on the 10th. Both pharmaceutical companies are expected to supply new products to the market as early as late August and September at the latest.

Kwangdong Pharmaceutical is the most anxious company due to the resumption of supply of champ syrup and Coldaewon Kids Cough Syrup. Kwangdong Pharmaceutical was mass-producing and supplying children's fever reducers through TelconRF Pharmaceutical.

Guangdong Pharmaceutical has produced so far Syrup is known to be worth about 1 billion won. With the return of the No. 1 and No. 2 products in the existing market, Kwangdong Pharmaceutical shakes it off The pharmaceutical industry is paying keen attention to whether syrup can be established as a steady seller.
