[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] On August 5, prosecutors continued their search operations at TMON, WEMAKEPRICE, and Qoo10 Tech offices, marking the third consecutive day of raids. This follows searches conducted on August 1 and 2.

According to legal sources, the Seoul Central District Prosecutor's Office’s Anti-Corruption Investigation Division is extending its previous operations to secure additional evidence. These searches are part of a broader investigation into the companies' alleged failure to settle sales payments.

The investigation focuses on determining when the companies' management recognized their financial crises and tracing the origins of the current issues. The prosecution has indicated that the charges under investigation include potential fraud amounting to over 1 trillion won and embezzlement of approximately 40 billion won.
