[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] NCSoft announced on December 17 that it has filed a complaint with the Seoul Gangnam Police Station against the operator of the YouTube channel “GyeomChangHyun,” which has over 100,000 subscribers, citing allegations of spreading false information.

In addition, NCSoft has filed a civil lawsuit with the Seoul Central District Court seeking damages for defamation, insult, and business obstruction resulting from the dissemination of false claims.

The company stated that the YouTube channel operator posted and distributed content regarding Aion 2 that contained false statements with a defamatory nature. NCSoft explained that it reviewed the impact of the false information, which could harm users, developers, and the company, and made the decision after consultations with experts.
