[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Seoul, September 28, 2025 – Beginning September 29, 2025, Chinese group tourists will be permitted to enter South Korea without a visa for short-term stays, the Ministry of Justice announced.

Under the program, which will remain in effect until June 30, 2026, groups of three or more travelers organized by authorized domestic or overseas travel agencies will be able to visit South Korea for up to 15 days without requiring a visa.

For Jeju Island, the existing visa-free policy remains unchanged, allowing both individual and group tourists from China to stay for up to 30 days without a visa.

The initiative is part of South Korea’s broader efforts to revitalize inbound tourism and support the recovery of the domestic travel and retail industries.
