[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] NH Investment & Securities CEO Chung Young-chae, whose term expires this month, will step down from his post.

"I decided to play a role until this shareholders' meeting and leave the company. There have been many stories for a while, but I think it's time to organize myself," CEO Chung Young-chae said on his social network service (SNS) on the 4th.

"I started as the head of an investment bank (IB) in 2005 and spent nearly 20 years becoming a CEO," CEO Chung said. "I reflect a lot as I look back on what I have done properly." "I think it's time for our company to take another leap forward," he said. "With a new color, better culture and organization..."

Currently, the executive candidate recommendation committee within NH Investment & Securities' board of directors is in the process of selecting the next president, and CEO Chung is on the first long list. The committee is expected to finalize its short list within this week and select the final candidate next week.
