Hyundai Motors invests 68 trillion won in Korea for three years from this year to 2026

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hyundai Motor Group will invest 68 trillion won in Korea and hire 80,000 people over the three-year period from this year to 2026. Both investment and recruitment are the largest ever, double digits higher than last year.

Hyundai Motor Group announced its domestic investment plan on the 27th. The average annual investment for three years is 22.7 trillion won, the largest ever. It is 30% more than last year (17.5 trillion won), when it made all-time investments thanks to its record-high performance.

Recruitment is also increasing. It will hire 27,000 people for three years, 17% more than last year's 23,000 new recruits. "Considering the employment inducement effect of the parts industry, the total job creation effect will exceed 198,000," a Hyundai Motor official said.
