Chey Tae-won to Chair Next Year’s APEC CEO Summit

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] With just over a year until the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Leaders' Meeting in 2025, the "APEC CEO Summit Task Force" has been launched. Chey Tae-won, Chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), will serve as the Chair of the APEC CEO Summit, overseeing the region’s premier gathering of business leaders.


On the 27th, KCCI announced the establishment of the APEC CEO Summit Task Force to ensure a successful event. The task force has already commenced preparations, comprising an operations division, a policy support team, and the APEC Cooperation Center. Additionally, KCCI also serves as the Korean Secretariat for the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC).
