[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] E-commerce platform TMON has announced a temporary postponement of its planned reopening, originally scheduled for August 11, in order to focus on completing its ongoing court-led corporate rehabilitation process.

In a statement released on August 11, TMON explained that the decision was made based on the need to provide stable services, which requires the formal conclusion of the rehabilitation proceedings. Until the court finalizes the process, all major decisions are subject to judicial approval, placing constraints on essential operational contracts and active business activities needed for a successful relaunch.

TMON had previously secured court approval for its rehabilitation plan and has been preparing for the relaunch with new owner Oasis Market. The company has been working to reform internal workflows and corporate culture, while also onboarding around 10,000 sellers in anticipation of a full-scale return to operations.

TMON also reported steady progress in creditor repayment. As of August 5, 96.5% of payments by amount and 94.9% by number of creditors have been completed. Funds for unpaid claims have been separately held in escrow, allowing remaining creditors to receive payments even after the scheduled deadlines.
