Winix Faces KRW 11.13 Billion Tax Penalty After Corporate Audit

[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] SEOUL, August 21 – Winix Co., Ltd. (KOSDAQ: 044340) has been hit with a significant tax adjustment following a corporate audit by the Central Regional Tax Office. 

 

 

According to a filing today, the company owes an additional KRW 11.13 billion (approximately USD 8.1 million) in corporate taxes covering fiscal years 2020–2024.



This penalty represents 6.58% of the company's equity capital. Winix confirmed that it plans to pay the assessed amount within the designated deadline, expressing its commitment to compliance and swift resolution.
