OCI Holdings has decided to retire all of its 42,279 shares

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] OCI Holdings announced on the 6th that it had decided to cancel all 42,279 shares of treasury stock acquired during the spin-off last year to improve shareholder value.


Capital after capital reduction will be reduced from about 107.1 billion won to about 106.9 billion won, and the number of shares issued will be reduced from 19,606,262 shares to 19,563,983 shares, respectively.

OCI Holdings explained, "There is no change in the shares owned by ordinary shareholders as we plan to arbitrarily and gratuitously retire all 42,279 shares of our company."

Previously, OCI was split into the holding company OCI Holdings, a surviving corporation, and OCI, a new corporation, through a spin-off in May last year. OCI also announced on the 5th that it had decided to cancel all 38,040 shares of treasury stock acquired during the spin-off.
