[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Hyundai Construction, led by CEO Yun Young-jun, has reportedly discussed collaboration opportunities with Bulgarian President Rumen Radev. According to a statement released on the 27th, Yun met with President Radev on the 26th (local time) during his visit to Bulgaria. President Radev expressed expectations to expand opportunities for cooperation with Hyundai Construction across the entire nuclear power value chain, including next-generation reactors. He also expressed hope for enhanced collaboration with Hyundai Motor Group, to which Hyundai Construction belongs.

In addition to the meeting, Hyundai Construction hosted the "Hyundai Construction Bulgaria Nuclear Roadshow 2024" at the Hilton Sofia Hotel in Bulgaria from the 25th (local time) for two days. The roadshow was aimed at promoting Hyundai Construction's capabilities in nuclear power construction and fostering partnerships with local nuclear-related agencies.

The main event on the first day was attended by approximately 300 participants, including key government officials from Bulgaria's Ministry of Energy, as well as representatives from the local nuclear and construction industries, research institutions, and media.
