[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SEOUL/DOHA, August 26, 2025 — Daehan Cable (KRX: 001440) announced on August 26 that it has won a KRW 220 billion (USD 160 million) ultra-high voltage (UHV) power grid project from Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation (Kahramaa), further expanding its presence in the Middle East.

This award follows the company’s receipt of a Letter of Award the previous day for another UHV grid project in Qatar valued at approximately KRW 180 billion.

The projects are part of a national initiative to expand Qatar’s transmission system, ensuring stable delivery of electricity generated from large-scale desalination and power plants to consumers across the country.

Under the contracts, Daehan Cable will provide a full turn-key solution, overseeing every stage from design, manufacturing, installation, and connection to final testing. The projects include Qatar’s highest voltage-level infrastructure, at 400kV and 220kV.
