[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] Hyundai Motor Group will carry out its regular executive reshuffle on December 18, bringing Hyundai Steel CEO Seo Gang-hyun back to the group’s headquarters to oversee planning and coordination functions, according to industry sources.
Seo, a senior financial strategist within the group, will take charge of group-wide strategy, finance, and investment oversight. Lee Bo-ryong, Vice President and head of production at Hyundai Steel, is set to succeed Seo as CEO.
The reshuffle also includes leadership changes across key divisions such as research and development (R&D), manufacturing, and software-defined vehicle (SDV) operations, as the group moves to strengthen profitability and organizational efficiency.
