[Alpha Biz= Kim Sangjin] BNK Busan Bank announced on the 12th that a financial fraud incident involving external parties had occurred, amounting to 1.35 billion KRW. The incident took place between September 19 and October of last year and was discovered through a report from one of its branches.

In October of last year, Busan Bank visited an overdue foreign exchange transaction client and found that, without the bank's consent, a cargo delivery order had been issued to the transportation intermediary, and the imported goods were illegally removed. Busan Bank has filed a lawsuit against the client and the transportation intermediary and stated, "We will make efforts to recover the debt."
