[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] It has been confirmed that WeMade Vice Chairman Jang Hyun-kook has stepped down as CEO of "Wemix Korea" following WeMade. Chang led the Wemix project, but his name can no longer be found in registered executives of major companies related to Wemix.

According to the industry on the 19th, Vice Chairman Jang resigned from the CEO of Wemix Korea at the end of last month. Instead, Park Kwan-ho, CEO of Wemade, was appointed CEO of Wemix Korea. Wemix Korea is a subsidiary of Wemade's Singapore subsidiary 'WEMIX PTE. LTD'. Wemade founded Wemade Innovation in late 2021 to acquire Wemade Play (formerly Sunday Toz) and changed its name to Wemix Korea in November 2022.

Last month, Vice Chairman Jang suddenly stepped down as CEO of Wemade with one year left in his term. When Vice Chairman Jang, who was at the forefront of the virtual asset business, resigned as CEO of Wemade, the price of virtual asset Wemix plummeted. Earlier this month, when CEO Jang was briefly excluded from Wemade's list of special officials, the price of Wemix fell by nearly 30%.

Currently, Vice Chairman Chang has only been named co-chairman of WeMadeMax.
