[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] Jeju, September 24, 2025 – Police were dispatched to a foreigner-only casino in Jeju after dozens of Chinese customers staged a protest and disrupted operations, leading to multiple arrests.

According to the Jeju Seobu Police Station, at around 5:30 p.m. on September 24, a report was filed by casino staff in Nohyeong-dong, Jeju City, stating that “about 50 customers are causing a disturbance.”

The incident began when a Chinese patron became dissatisfied after a dealer’s mistake during a game and voiced strong objections. Other Chinese guests joined in, escalating the situation into a large-scale disturbance.

Police arrested a man in his 50s on charges of assault and obstruction of business. Two additional Chinese men in their 30s were also detained on assault charges. Authorities allege the men incited others to disrupt casino operations and assaulted three security guards.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are reviewing security footage and eyewitness accounts to determine the scope of responsibility.
