[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] The The annual subscription plan prices of online video service (OTT) TVing is increased.
TVing announced on May 21 that it will raise the annual subscription price by about 20%. Only new members are eligible, and existing annual subscription members are required to pay a subscription fee before the change.
As a result, membership subscription fees (based on regular price) such as Basic (94,800 won→114,000 won), Standard (138,000 won→162,000 won) and premium (166,800 won→ 204,000 won) will be raised.
However, to reduce the burden on new members, the company said it will apply an event that discounts the annual subscription price by 27% for more than a month.
