[Alpha Biz= Paul Lee] JYP Entertainment announced on December 1 that its group Stray Kids has achieved their eighth No. 1 debut on the Billboard 200 with SKZ IT TAPE ‘DO IT’.

According to Billboard’s preview article released on November 30 (local time), the album—released on November 21—sold approximately 295,000 units in the U.S. during its first week, securing the top spot on the Billboard 200 chart dated December 6.

With this achievement, Stray Kids become the first artists in the world to debut their first eight entries at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and the group with the most No. 1 albums in the 2000s. The chart, which began in 1956, saw the group set two new all-time records in 2025 alone.

The album’s U.S. sales performance also places Stray Kids at No. 7 among all 2025 album releases, following Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, The Weeknd, Sabrina Carpenter, their own full-length album KARMA, and Playboi Carti. Their strong showing is especially notable as it follows Taylor Swift’s seven-week No. 1 streak on the chart.

Strong Performance Across Global Charts

Stray Kids also showcased significant presence on the UK Official Charts. On the Official Trending Chart, double title tracks “Do It” and “新鮮놀음 (Fresh Play)” ranked No. 5 and No. 9, while “Holiday” entered at No. 18. On the latest Official Singles Top 100, “Do It” debuted at No. 35, marking the group’s seventh career entry. In Australia, the track reached No. 10 on the ARIA Top 50 Singles Chart—the highest ranking for a K-pop artist this year.

On Spotify, “Do It” entered both the Global Daily Top Songs chart and the U.S. chart at the group’s highest placements to date—No. 11 globally and No. 13 in the U.S. It later secured No. 42 on the Global Weekly Chart and No. 82 in the U.S., surpassing the group’s previous records.

Viral Momentum With “Fresh Play”
